Early Days Breastfeeding Home Visit
“Claire visited us and i felt very at ease. Nothing felt rushed and I was listened to before any suggestions were made and my questions answered I was given new tips and techniques to try along with the reassurance that what i was going through was normal. Claire gave me all the confidence to continue in my breastfeeding journey also knowing i had her support.”

“Claire has been a lifesaver! She has been nothing short of amazing in supporting my infant feeding journey. She was encouraging and calming as she guided me through hand expression and techniques. After our session, i felt a huge sense of relief, and my confidence grew. It has made the world of difference in my daily feeding practice'.’’
The Importance of the early days.
It is important to begin to stimulate the breasts in the early days as much as posisble if it is your intention to breastfeed. At your home, we will create a calm space for you and your baby as you learn to breastfeed together. If this is your first baby, you may have done some reading or taken a feeding class antenatally but nothing can help more then having a breastfeeding consultant there with you when you are physically holding your baby.
A 90 minute session with me will help to reassure you and start you on your journey to a more calm and confident breastfeed with your baby, ultimately leading to more calm and fulfilling experience.

“Claire came to visit when our little girl was 3 days old. My milk had just come in and it all felt incredibly overwhelming, it felt like i was failing. We had days of constant crying and my nipples were blistered and sore. If she hadnt have come that day, I would have definitely not carried on. Her advice, calmness and guidance was so valuable’’ Katya
