Breastfeeding Support
Are you struggling with breastfeeding your newborn?
Is breastfeeding your newborn baby feeling painful? Perhaps you have been shown how to ‘put baby on’ while in hospital but you are home and now having to do it alone and it isnt going as well as you would like. Is your baby fussing at the breast or you’re worried your baby isn’t getting enough milk.
Although it sounds off, breastfeeding sn’t just about milk. While observing you, I will help identify other areas which need to be considered and together we will apply new skills and adopt new positions based on your body and your baby so you can go on to feed your baby alone with confidence when I leave your home. The goal is for you to sustain breastfeeding your baby if this is your intention. We can cover pumping, transitioning to breast from bottle and make some plans for your own goals.
I will come to your home and support you to breastfeed your baby with more comfort and confidence.
For the past eight years, I've supported new mothers through those precious early weeks after birth to help them establish breastfeeding with their newborn baby. The early days are key and this is where I can help you. I generally see mothers with babies between 0-4 weeks old.
I will contact you within 3 hrs during the daytime. You can message me on WhatsApp or book a call in my diary right away.
In the comfort of your own home, I offer a calm, gentle 90 minute feeding observation session where you and your baby can learn together. You will have my 1:1 support with attachment, positioning, and responsive feeding. We can look at what to expect, your set up at home, discuss pumping, hand expressing if you are currently doing this and make a plan for you to move to breastfeeding your baby at the breast if this is your intention.
While books and antenatal classes can offer helpful preparation, nothing compares to having compassionate, experienced support by your side in those first early days. Someone to guide you, reassure you, and help you build confidence in yourself and your baby.
A short time together can make all the difference to how your breastfeeding begins.

Mothers Are Saying;
“Her whole approach was professional, positive and incredibly reassuring and she made sure that I did not feel disheartened or as though I was doing anything wrong as a mother. Her help and advice resulted in my baby latching perfectly and feeding entirely from the breast after just two days”
— Nikola via Google“Her kind & caring manner was just what I needed after a difficult start and being separated from my baby early on - having this prior knowledge from her sessions, and her support afterwards helped to quickly establish my milk supply and ultimately make sure that I had all the tools I needed to feed my daughter”
— Lucy via Google“Claire was amazing with giving me confidence with breastfeeding my newborn just days after his arrival. Both with physical positioning help but also just mentally gave me so much reassurance in a time of high emotions, uncertainty and lack of sleep. Would highly recommend for any new mummas who need a little help or reassurance”
