Breastfeeding Support
Are you struggling with breastfeeding?
I offer in-home breastfeeding support visits to correct attachment, help you increase supply if required, to guide you and avoid painful breastfeeds.
Enfield, Barnet & Surrounding Areas.
Hi, I'm Claire.
If breastfeeding feels painful, stressful, or you’re worried your newborn baby isn’t getting enough milk, you don’t have to work through it alone. Early breastfeeding support can make all the difference to how your feeding journey begins.
I will come to your home and support you to breastfeed your baby with more comfort and confidence.
For the past eight years, I've supported new mothers through those precious early weeks after birth to help them establish breastfeeding with their newborn baby. The early days are key and this is where I can help you. I generally see mothers with babies between 0-4 weeks old.
I will contact you within 3 hrs during the daytime. You can message me on WhatsApp below.
In the comfort of your own home, I offer a calm, gentle 90 minute feeding observation session where you and your baby can learn together. You will have my 1:1 support with attachment, positioning, and responsive feeding. We can look at what to expect, your set up at home, discuss pumping, hand expressing if you are currently doing this and make a plan for you to move to breastfeeding your baby at the breast if this is your intention.
While books and antenatal classes can offer helpful preparation, nothing compares to having compassionate, experienced support by your side in those first early days. Someone to guide you, reassure you, and help you build confidence in yourself and your baby.
A short time together can make all the difference to how your breastfeeding begins and how you feel.
I Can Help You:
Settle into your home and help you set up your breastfeeding spaces.
Help you feed more comfortably if you have pain when feeding.
Attach your baby correctly in order for milk to transfer and baby to gain weight.
Learn and adopt new positions for breastfeeding based on you and your baby.
Understand ways to extend babies feeds from snacking to full feeds.
Increase your milk supply if required discuss pumping, advice and guidance.
Talk through nipple sheilds and milk collectors so it all feels clear.
Settle anxiety you might be feeling post birth.
Feel more confident with newborn baby care.
Manage expectations around your newborn and wake windows.
Answer general questions you might have.

“Claire came to visit when our little girl was 3 days old. My milk had just come in and it all felt incredibly overwhelming, it felt like i was failing. We had days of constant crying and my nipples were blistered and sore. If she hadnt have come that day, I would have definitely not carried on. Her advice, calmness and guidance was so valuable’’ Katya
