As part of our love for the North Norfolk coast, we have made the exciting decision to let our second home for babymoons and families to enjoy.

Enjoy special quiet time at our beautiful traditional Norfolk cottage in Docking. Take a short break away from work and a busy City as you focus on eachother before your new little one arrives. With so many options, Staneve, offers you a cosy comfortable space to just be. The mattresses are from the most recommended Norfolk manufacturer, the bedding is also local from a gorgeous shop in Thornham and with ‘The White Company’ towels there for your comfort, need we go on? You should expect a high quality of care when you stay in our cottage.

Take romantic beach walks amongst the sand dunes at Holkham Bay before sampling some of their local bites at the cafe, book a table at one of our favourite pubs, The White Horse in Holme-Next-The-Sea and relax as everyone says, the next time you visit Norfolk you will be a family.

Norfolk is just two and a half hours from North London, an easy drive (usually) and we have a parking space outside the house for you to unload your bags. There is a Hospital in Kings Lynn if you needed to check on anything with your baby or little one and a GP surgery in the village of Docking.

Staneve is a cottage nestled in the beautiful village of Docking just a short drive from Brancaster Beach, Burnham Market and other popular small towns in North Norfolk. The cottage has been lovingly restored to all its glory by myself and my husband, Dominic. We have included some comfort touches we feel parents would appreciate. We have a pub in Docking serving good food and also a great pub in Stanhoe a few minutes drive away called The Duck Inn. The thing that draw us to the North Norfolk area is the beaches, they are long and wide white sandy beaches stretching for miles. You can start at Hunstanon and walk all the way to Wells-Next-The-Sea stopping off at cafes, pubs and small villages on the way. In the sunshine, you could be anywhere in the world in North Norfolk.

As with many traditional cottages, the stairs can be a little steep, we have worked on them to provide safety either side of the staircase with handrails and larger steps but please be mindful.
